I come from a Communist country, and I know how valuable it is to have a First Amendment right and especially the freedom of speech. In a Communist country, people cannot express what they feel or think about their country. The government controls all channels of media, like the internet, newspapers, television, radio and magazines.
It is frustrating when the government controls the way you think, what you can read and the information to which you can have access. That should never happen in a country because the result can be horrifying and violent.
Having freedom of speech is having diversity of thinking. To make new things or fix old social disputes, we need to be able to express what we feel or think.
